Ingredients:
2 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Cup Butter or Margarine, softened
3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
3/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1-1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
2 Cups (12 oz.) Chocolate Chips
2 Cups Quick Cooking Oats
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside. In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and oats. Drop by tablespoonfuls about 2" apart on cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on pan for about 3 minutes, then remove and place on a cooling rack. Makes about 4-1/2 dozen.
